Carfix Secures €1.25M Investment to Expand Automotive Industry Platform
Carfix, a Romanian SaaS platform connecting various automotive industry players, has secured a €1.25 million investment from Catalyst Romania. The investment aims to expand Carfix's platform locally and across Europe, offering access to an integrated ecosystem for fleet companies, insurers, leasing firms, auto repair shops, and dealers. Sorin Iacob, CEO of Carfix, sees this as validation of the company's direction and a step towards accelerating digital transformation in the automotive industry.
Carfix's platform offers digital solutions for claims management, cost estimates, authorization flows, real-time monitoring, and a marketplace for evaluations and transactions. Approximately 150 companies are already using Carfix to reduce auto costs and streamline operations. The platform covers all market segments in the automotive industry and has previously received investments from Autonom and GT Motive, as well as partnering with LKQ CEE for regional expansion.
Catalyst Romania, the investor, is a prominent Venture Capital fund in the region. This investment is the eleventh from Catalyst Romania Fund II, supporting growth and innovation in Romania and Central and Eastern Europe. The fund is supported by JEREMIE Holding Fund Romania and InnovFin Equity.
The €1.25 million investment from Catalyst Romania will enable Carfix to expand its platform locally and across Europe. This expansion aims to offer an integrated ecosystem for various automotive industry players, further accelerating digital transformation in the sector. With approximately 150 companies already using Carfix to reduce auto costs and streamline operations, the platform is well-positioned for growth.
