Hayfin Capital Management Appoints Daniel Stevenson as Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets

Hayfin Capital Management, a leading private credit investment firm, has announced the appointment of Daniel Stevenson as Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets. Stevenson will lead the capital markets division and his role is expected to be instrumental in expanding Hayfin's origination and execution capabilities.

Stevenson brings over 14 years of experience in leveraged finance to Hayfin, having previously worked at Deutsche Bank. During his tenure at Deutsche Bank, he advised global corporate and sponsor-backed clients on high-yield bonds and leveraged loan financings.

The appointment of Stevenson is a strategic move by Hayfin to meet the growing demand for larger private credit deals. Larger transactions are accounting for an ever-greater share of private credit deal volumes, making access to and understanding of capital markets critical, according to Marc Chowrimootoo, Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of Direct Lending at Hayfin.

Stevenson has expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity to bring his experience in leveraged finance to support the growth of a buy-side platform and work with Hayfin's talented team. Chowrimootoo also stated that Stevenson's appointment is an important step in broadening Hayfin's origination and execution capabilities.

Stevenson supported some of the biggest acquisition and expansion transactions in the market, but specific information about the transactions or clients he will work on at Hayfin was not provided. However, his extensive experience is expected to be a valuable addition to Hayfin's private credit, bank, and syndicated markets.

Hayfin is looking forward to welcoming Daniel Stevenson to the team and meeting the evolving needs of its borrowers, sponsors, and co-investment partners. Stevenson, on the other hand, is looking forward to helping Hayfin continue to innovate and scale in the years ahead.

It's important to note that Stevenson's appointment is not related to Squire Patton Boggs, a law firm that recently added a director to its asset-based lending team, or Katten, a law firm that recently added a partner to its private credit practice.

The search results do not provide information about an international investment company hiring Daniel Stevenson as Managing Director and Head of Capital Market Activities or the date of this event. Nonetheless, this appointment marks an exciting chapter for Hayfin Capital Management and the private credit industry as a whole.
