Blackmagic Design Slashes URSA Cine Camera Prices for Cinema Accessibility
Blackmagic Design has slashed prices for its URSA Cine camera kits, making large-format cinema more accessible. The URSA Cine 12K LF and 17K 65 models now offer significant savings, benefiting film production companies, studios, and educational institutions.
The URSA Cine 17K 65 has seen its price reduced by $7,000, a 23 percent drop, bringing it down to $22,995. The URSA Cine 12K LF has also experienced a substantial price cut, now priced at $9,495 after a $5,500 reduction, a 37 percent decrease.
Both camera kits now come with an extensive range of accessories, including the camera body, 8TB Media Module, top handle, baseplate, power supply, battery plate, and a rugged Pelican style case. The URSA Cine 17K 65 plus EVF is now $24,495, down from $31,495, a $7,000 reduction, while the URSA Cine 12K LF plus EVF is priced at $10,995 after a $5,500 reduction.
With these price reductions, Blackmagic Design aims to make high-quality, large-format cinema more affordable. Production houses, studios, and educational facilities can now invest in more cameras, enhancing their capabilities and production quality.
