Beirut: New Halal Restaurant Opens in Minsk's Historic Heart

A new restaurant, Beirut, has opened its doors in the heart of Minsk. Situated in a historic 17th-century building at 19 Internatsionalnaya Street, it offers a unique dining experience with a capacity of 56 seats across three halls.

The restaurant specializes in halal cuisine with a Lebanese twist, catering to the growing demand for such dishes in Minsk. Beirut's interior is adorned with Eastern ornaments, beaded chandeliers, and natural materials, creating an authentic Lebanese ambiance. A real olive tree stands as the centerpiece.

The menu features a variety of authentic Lebanese dishes, including flatbreads, lemonades, cold appetizers like meze and hummus, hot dishes, and grilled meats. A standard meal costs around 80 Belarusian rubles. In its first week, Beirut served around 300 customers, with checks ranging from 20 to 180 Belarusian rubles.

Beirut uses original Lebanese spices and products, and prepares traditional Lebanese desserts with rose and flower water.

Beirut's opening is timely, given the increasing interest in halal food among locals and Middle Eastern guests in Minsk. The restaurant's commitment to authentic Lebanese cuisine, traditional decor, and warm atmosphere is expected to attract more diners seeking a unique culinary experience.
