AZB & Partners Promotes 10 Lawyers to Partnership, Appoints 5 as Counsels
AZB & Partners has announced a significant reshuffle in its leadership, promoting 10 lawyers to partnership and appointing 5 as counsels, effective October 1, 2025. The new appointments span across various practice areas, reflecting the firm's commitment to growth and client service.
Among the promotions, Sweta Ananthanarayanan and Ashnee Desai have been elevated to partners in the Capital Markets and Banking/Finance practices respectively, both based in Mumbai. Nitin Saluja has been promoted to Partner in the Real Estate practice in Delhi. In the Dispute Resolution practice, Asif Ahmed has been promoted to Partner in Delhi.
The Corporate/M&A practice saw multiple promotions. Himanshoo Tembe and Anshuman Bharadwaj were promoted in Mumbai, while Gursimran Kohli and Sahil Tandon were promoted in Delhi. Adoksh Shastry was promoted in Bangalore. Notably, the specialisation areas of the five new counsels appointed on the same day remain unlisted.
