In the city of Krasnodar, a significant change is underway in the parking sector. The administration has announced plans to increase the number of parking spots by 600, bringing the total to 14,500 by the end of the year. This expansion is part of a wider effort to combat hidden numbers and improve the overall parking experience for residents and visitors.

The funds collected from parking fees and fines have been earmarked for various city improvements. The head of Krasnodar, Naumov, recently announced that a portion of these funds will be used for the renovation of bus stops, sidewalks, and road infrastructure. Additionally, the funds will contribute to the repair of roadways, with the revenue directed to the road fund.

The city saw a substantial increase in parking revenue in 2024, with a total of 800 million rubles. Of this amount, around 500 million came from fines for violations, while the remaining 300 million was from parking fees. However, the latest figures show a significant increase in revenue since January 2025. The administration reported that over 536 million rubles have been collected from parking fees and fines since then.

In the first seven months of 2025, parking fees amounted to 224 million rubles, while fines totaled 312 million rubles. At the beginning of August, Krasnodar gained 323 paid parking spots on six previously free plots.

The authorities in Krasnodar have set a goal to increase parking revenue to 1 billion rubles by the end of the year. This ambitious target is part of a broader strategy to improve the city's infrastructure and services.

Despite the expansion of the parking network, the free parking time has been reduced from 15 to 5 minutes. This change aims to encourage the use of paid parking and reduce congestion in the city centre.

While detailed data on Krasnodar's parking revenue changes from 2024 to 2025 and revenue goals for the end of 2025 are not readily available, it is clear that the city is making significant strides in improving its parking infrastructure and generating revenue for city improvements. For more specific data, it may be necessary to consult official Krasnodar municipal budget reports or local government announcements directly.

The funds collected from parking fees and fines are being used towards the renovation of bus stops, sidewalks, and road infrastructure, as well as the repair of roadways. As the city of Krasnodar aims to increase its parking revenue to 1 billion rubles by the end of the year, this growth in finance will contribute to the improvement of the city's business environment by upgrading its infrastructure and services.
