Aschaffenburg & Miltenberg Unveil New Public Transport Plan for Bavarian Lower Main

Aschaffenburg and Miltenberg have adopted a new public transport plan for the Bavarian Lower Main region. The 157-page document, developed over a year and a half, outlines current issues and future goals. It was created by PTV Transport Consult, led by AMINA, with citizens' active involvement.

The plan's creation involved an online participation process, allowing locals to contribute. Key areas of focus include enhancing services, introducing on-demand transport, upgrading bus stops, promoting eco-friendly buses, and revising route bundles. PTV Transport Consult, specialists in transport planning, guided the development process.

The new public transport plan aims to improve services and sustainability in the Bavarian Lower Main region. With citizens' input and expert guidance, it sets a course for enhanced mobility in the coming years.
