Announcement of PM-KISAN 20th Installment Date in 2025: Scheduled Transfer of Rs 2,000 on Stipulated Date; Gain Knowledge on Details, Payment Status, and Additional Information
In a significant development for the farming community, the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme will be directly credited to farmers' bank accounts on August 2, 2025.
To be eligible for this financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year, divided into three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each, farmers must meet certain criteria. They must be Indian citizens owning cultivable agricultural land, classified as small or marginal farmers, and not institutional landowners or government employees/pensioners. Additionally, they must have correct land records, link their Aadhaar number to their bank accounts, and complete the mandatory e-KYC verification process.
Farmers are advised to be vigilant about fake messages and payment links circulating on social media. The Ministry of Agriculture has issued a warning in this regard. It is crucial that farmers link their Aadhaar to their bank accounts to receive the payment.
To check the PM-KISAN 20th installment payment status, farmers can visit pmkisan.gov.in, click on 'Beneficiary Status', enter Aadhaar or bank account number, and click 'Get Data'. For those who have not yet completed e-KYC, they can visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) for biometric e-KYC. Alternatively, they can also complete the e-KYC process online on pmkisan.gov.in.
The release event for the 20th installment will be held in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. This installment comes at a crucial time during the Kharif season, providing a timely boost to farmers.
