The 2025 KGM Musso Ultimate XLV has made a strong impression in the Australian market, recently winning the best dual-cab ute under $50,000 category. This versatile ute offers a unique blend of value for money, strong performance, and practical utility that sets it apart from its competitors.

Powered by a re-engineered 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine, the Musso delivers 133kW (approximately 180 horsepower) and 400-420Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, a part-time four-wheel drive system with high and low range, and a locking rear differential. This setup provides a balance of power, fuel efficiency, and off-road capability, making the Musso a capable performer on both city streets and rugged terrains.

The Musso Ultimate XLV's dimensions are 5415mm in length, 1950mm in width, and 1885mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3210mm and a fuel tank size of 75L. The XLV model features a 300mm longer tub, increasing cargo capacity by 251 litres. The tray is generous and equipped with four tie-down points, making it ideal for transporting equipment or gear on long trips.

The top-spec Ultimate XLV model is priced at $43,500 drive away, or $41,500 for ABN holders. Optional extras include the XLV package with extra length and 20Nm more torque for $1500, the Luxury Package with dual-zone automatic climate control, sunroof, leather upholstery, an electric driver's seat with lumbar adjustment and heated rear outboard seats for $3000, and metallic paint for $700.
