Ad Alliance Germany Welcomes Christian Bachert to Drive Convergent TV Shift

Ad Alliance Germany has welcomed Christian Bachert, a seasoned media professional with over 15 years of experience, from Amazon Online Germany. Bachert, 41, has taken on a new role to drive the transformation of linear television towards a convergent future of moving images.

Bachert's career spans various leadership roles in media agencies and sales houses. He began in 2007 as a TV Planner at Omnicom Media Group. He then moved to OMD Düsseldorf, where he served as Managing Partner Activation TV. Later, he held the position of General Manager Video Consulting at Mediaplus until 2024.

In June 2022, Bachert joined Amazon as Senior Agency Development Manager. Now, he returns to the German advertising scene, reporting directly to Ad Alliance's Chief Sales Officer, Michael Dorn. His extensive experience in both agency and client-side roles makes him well-positioned to lead the shift towards convergent television.

Christian Bachert's appointment at Ad Alliance Germany signals a strategic move towards embracing the future of television.
