Neil Heymann Appointed as Global Chief Creative Officer of Accenture Song

Neil Heymann, a renowned figure in the advertising industry, has returned to Accenture Song (formerly Accenture Interactive) as its global chief creative officer. He previously held this position within the company three years ago.

Heymann's return marks a significant move for Accenture Song, as he will be working closely with other creative leaders, such as Tara Ford, chief creative officer for growth markets at Accenture Song[1]. His role involves shaping the creative direction of the organization globally and overseeing the diverse creative talent within the firm.

David Droga, the chief executive and founder of Droga5 within Accenture Interactive, has tasked Heymann with "uniting, enhancing, and amplifying" the creativity across the agencies operating within Accenture Song. This task signifies a focus on the creative aspect of Accenture Song's operations, rather than its business or technological aspects.

Heymann's journey with Accenture Song took a brief detour when he left to form the Publicis agency Le Truc. Before that, he was the global chief creative officer within Accenture Interactive owned agency Droga5. He also left his previous role within Accenture Interactive to form Publicis agency Le Truc.

The new role for Heymann will begin in February, and he will be reporting directly to David Droga. Droga's statement suggests that Heymann's role is about leading Accenture Song to where it needs to go as an agency.

It's important to note that this is not a new role for Heymann, but rather a continuation of his previous responsibilities within Accenture Interactive. Accenture Interactive has officially appointed Heymann as its first global chief creative officer, a testament to the importance placed on creativity within the organization.
