"2025 Zunyi Dialogue Held: Showcasing Top-Notch Chinese Goods to the Global Market"

In the heart of Guizhou, China, Zunyi played host to a significant event on July 15, 2025. The "Chinese Quality Products Shared with the World" Zunyi Dialogue was held, marking a special occasion to promote Chinese quality products and cultural heritage items, with a focus on Zunyi's unique offerings.

The event, part of the 2025 "China's Development, An Opportunity for a Colorful World" International Exchange Week, attracted more than 150 participants, including diplomatic envoys from over 30 countries, experts, scholars, university faculty and students, enterprises with distinctive features, and media representatives.

Key products showcased at the event included Meitan Cuiya tea, Zunyi chili peppers, Moutai liquor, Kweichow Zhen, and traditional crafts such as bamboo weaving and embroidery. Zunyi is renowned for these characteristic products, along with its production of chili peppers, tea, liquor, and guitars.

One of the speakers at the event was Ivet Nikolova, Commercial Counsellor of the Bulgarian General Consulate in Shanghai. Nikolova highlighted Bulgaria's strategic advantage within Europe and deep tradition of fruit wine consumption, expressing a desire to integrate Chinese industries with Bulgarian culture, with the aim of linking more closely with the EU market.

Another speaker was Bakhtiyor Mirzaev, Trade-Economic Counselor of the Uzbekistan Consulate General in Guangzhou. Mirzaev discussed the historical significance of the ancient Silk Road, starting from Xi'an and passing through Tashkent and Samarkand, emphasising the potential for strengthening trade relations between China and Uzbekistan through the new railway currently under construction.

The event was organised with cooperation from the Xufang International Media, CICG, and the Trade Promotion and Exchange Center of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade as part of the "Chinese Quality Products" Global Promotion Initiative (Zunyi). The live streaming on social media platforms enabled ambassadors and international influencers to share these distinctive products with a global audience, helping to promote the event's mission of showcasing the best of Zunyi to the world.

This international exchange event, occurring during China's Development week, attracted several businesses seeking to forge ties with the EU market, like Bulgaria, which highlighted its deep tradition of fruit wine consumption and expressed the possibility of integrating Chinese industries with Bulgarian culture.
