Yakutskenergo Chief Inspects Western Yakutia's Power Grid for Winter Readiness

Sergei Prokopenko, first deputy general director and chief engineer of PJSC 'Yakutskenergo', recently conducted a comprehensive inspection of electrical network areas (RENs) in Western Yakutia. The inspection, which covered key substations and distribution points, aimed to ensure readiness for the autumn-winter period.

Prokopenko began his inspection in the Suntarsky district, where he monitored the reconstruction of 35 kV 'Center' and 220 kV 'Suntar' substations. He also checked the installation of a new auto-transformer. The inspection extended to Mirninsky, Nyurbinsky, Viluisky, and Verkhneviluisky RENs, focusing on main equipment, buildings, and structures.

Repair work at Viluiskaya DPS was found to be in line with the approved schedule, with no violations noted. Prokopenko personally oversaw the reconstruction of Verkhneviluiskaya DPS, ensuring its completion before the onset of cold weather to guarantee a permanent power supply. Key objects in Verkhneviluisky REN included the 110 kV 'Verkhneviluisk' substation and Verkhneviluiskaya DPS, where reconstruction of the capacitive park for GTU-1, 2, 3 is ongoing. Preliminary plans for capital repairs and foundation arrangement were outlined during the inspection, with additional territory backfilling decided for special equipment passage.

Sergei Prokopenko assessed the condition of the inspected objects positively, noting satisfactory readiness of RENs in Western Yakutia for the autumn-winter period. Despite the completion of work at Verkhneviluiskaya DPS, Prokopenko maintains personal control over the issue to ensure all repairs are up to standard and ready for the upcoming season.
