VRM Appoints Mareike Woll to Lead New Transformation Business Unit

VRM, the Mainz-based media group, has appointed Mareike Woll, 31, as the head of its new Transformation business unit. Woll, who has been with VRM since 2014, brings extensive experience to the role, as praised by VRM CEO Joachim Liebler.

VRM, publisher of newspapers like 'Allgemeine Zeitung', 'Wiesbadener Kurier', and 'Darmstädter Echo', is expanding its business area of news. This new structure aims to bolster VRM's strategic initiatives and future-proof the organization. Woll, previously serving as Chief Transformation Officer, took the helm of this new unit on August 1, 2023. Beyond publishing, VRM offers a range of services including advertising papers, printing, logistics, and the agency network Ryze Digital.
