The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) has unveiled the agenda and slogan for the forthcoming and largest edition of the 'Make it in the Emirates' forum, scheduled from May 19-22, 2025, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The event, titled 'Advanced Industries. Accelerated', underscores the UAE's drive to establish itself as a global leader in advanced manufacturing, industrial innovation, and economic diversification.

During a high-profile press conference at Emirates Towers, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, led the briefing, underscoring the nation's strategic vision and progress in building a knowledge-based, resilient economy. The 2025 edition anticipates attracting over 30,000 visitors and more than 700 exhibitors—a significant increase from last year's event—across an expanded 68,000 sqm exhibition space.

Organized by MoIAT and ADNEC Group, with support from ADNOC, ADIO, and the Ministry of Culture, the forum aims to facilitate connections between investors, manufacturers, and innovators, offering procurement opportunities and aligning with national development goals. Key highlights include the launch of significant industrial projects, a dedicated pavilion for Emirati crafts, new financing solutions, and more than 1,200 job opportunities for Emiratis.

The agenda encompasses crucial topics such as AI-driven manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and global trade access, alongside panel discussions, award ceremonies, and startup competitions. Dr. Al Jaber reiterated the UAE's dedication to nurturing local industry and attracting global talent, citing a 68% increase in industrial exports since 2020 and AED 347 billion in cumulative local spending through the In-Country Value Program.

The forthcoming event is a significant step in the UAE's industrial evolution, reflecting a commitment to innovation, heritage, strategic partnerships, and increased participation from various sectors. The extensive participation of innovators, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders across 12 key sectors is expected to highlight the UAE as a vibrant destination for investment and innovation in advanced manufacturing and technology.
