Released on December 5, Pushpa 2 The Rule was made available in various languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The film's ensemble cast includes Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in key roles. Devi Sri Prasad contributed the music, while Mirosław Kuba Brożek handled the cinematography. The movie was produced with a budget of approximately $58 million.

In the Hindi markets within India, the film grossed $66 million within ten days of release. Remarkably, the Hindi version's earnings surpassed the original Telugu version's total after three weeks in theatres.
