Stunning BMW M5 Touring equipped with carbon kit and golden wheels creates a buzz at the IAA Munich showroom.

In a grand display at the IAA Mobility Show in Munich, BMW has revealed its latest masterpiece – the M5 Touring. This luxurious estate car is set to join the ranks of the next generation of BMW vehicles, which will undergo a significant overhaul with the Neue Klasse treatment starting in 2026.

The M5 Touring, finished in striking Daytona Violet and adorned with M Performance Parts, has been the talk of the town. Its unique wheels, the 1075 M design in Frozen Gold Bronze, add an extra touch of elegance to its already opulent appearance. The wheels, with their "Y" spoke layout and self-leveling center caps, are a testament to BMW's commitment to both style and innovation.

While the facelifted M5 sedan has already been spotted testing, the M5 Touring has remained elusive, with no sightings by car paparazzi until its grand unveiling at the IAA Mobility Show. However, it is confirmed that both M5 body styles will receive the Neue Klasse treatment, bringing major changes to their interior and exterior designs.

The Neue Klasse treatment will not only be limited to the M5 models. BMW has announced that the electric iX3, X3, and M5 Touring will be unveiled in 2026, along with the next-generation X5 and the facelifted 7 Series. This marks BMW's ambitious plan to transition fully to electric drive technology, starting with its core volume lineup. The i3 sedan and its gas-fueled 3 Series sibling will also be part of this transition.

In addition to the standard M5 Touring, there could be a more exclusive version – the M5 CS Touring. Details about this higher-end model are yet to be revealed, but it is expected to debut after the Life Cycle Impulse.

The M5 Touring is not for the faint-hearted, with its price tag approaching €200,000 in Germany when fully loaded with extras. For those who appreciate the finer things in life, the M5 Touring offers an unparalleled driving experience, embodying the essence of luxury and performance.

BMW's Neue Klasse lineup is set for a major expansion, with more than 40 new or updated models expected to join by the end of 2027. The M5 Touring, with its full carbon fiber body kit and optional carbon-ceramic brakes, is just the beginning of this exciting new era for BMW.
