Sochi to Malta & Italy Sea Cruises Launch in 2026
Sea cruises from Sochi to Malta and Italy are set to commence in 2026, with prices starting from 476,000 rubles per trip. The new service will be operated by the 'Meteor 120R', a vessel equipped with modern amenities and capable of accommodating 120 passengers.
The 'Meteor 120R' boasts a salon with panoramic windows, aviation-type seats, air conditioning, and multimedia equipment, ensuring a comfortable journey for all passengers. It can travel at a speed of around 65 km/h and has a range of up to 600 kilometers without refueling.
The vessel will operate between Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, and Romanovskaya near Volgodonsk, routes that have not seen regular service for over three decades. The last regular service between Rostov and Taganrog ceased in the early 1990s. The first 'Meteor 120R' vessel has already arrived in Rostov-on-Don, ready to begin service.
The launch of the 'Meteor 120R' service will reconnect these cities by sea, offering passengers a modern, comfortable, and efficient way to travel. The vessel's amenities and speed promise an enjoyable journey for all those who choose to sail with it.
