Samsung and HARMAN, a subsidiary of Samsung, are geared up to launch a new payments solution, as announced by HARMAN during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
At this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES), HARMAN, in collaboration with industry partners, showcased a new lineup of automotive products designed to enhance the in-vehicle experience. The new offerings aim to transform usability, scalability, and connected mobility, setting a new standard for the industry.
One of the most anticipated announcements was the launch of Ready Connect, a groundbreaking product that enables product upgradability, increases product scalability, and transforms in-vehicle connected mobility experiences. This innovation promises to deliver the right information at the right time and enable fast, seamless hardware and software upgrades.
HARMAN also introduced Ready Care, an industry-first in-cabin monitoring product designed to measure a driver's visual and cognitive load in real-time. This technology, developed in collaboration with Samsung, Gentherm, and Adient, will sense driver drowsiness and deliver personalized closed-loop in-cabin interventions.
The collaboration with Samsung has emerged as a significant driving force within the sector, focusing on consumer needs and accelerating advancements in what the in-cabin experience can be. HARMAN and Samsung share a commitment to delivering impactful in-car experiences and leading the industry forward.
In addition to Ready Care, HARMAN announced several new industry collaborations to enable more content, features, and increased vehicle safety and connectivity within the HARMAN Ignite Store. These collaborations include partnerships with OEMs such as Audi, Cisco, and Mavi.io, among others.
Another exciting development is HARMAN Ignite Store Payments, a new payment product for the HARMAN Ignite Store. Powered by Samsung Checkout, this payment solution integrates with OEM wallets and supports multiple payment service providers, providing a seamless and safe shopping experience for consumers.
HARMAN's new products can work independently or be integrated for an enhanced experience. For instance, the ChargePoint app, now available through the HARMAN Ignite Store, offers a seamless charging experience for EV owners. Vector Unit's in-vehicle gaming is also now available, providing entertainment on the go.
The Weather Channel app is another valuable addition to the HARMAN Ignite Store, keeping customers updated on weather conditions along their route. For those seeking a safer driving experience, Telenav's Novo, a driver safety app, is also available.
HARMAN is also introducing Ready Vision QVUE & AR HUD, which transforms the windshield with pillar-to-pillar projection. This innovative technology offers superior performance, unique and space-saving wedgeless design, and 3-dimensional object detection.
In terms of audio, HARMAN has unveiled SeatSonic, a new approach to in-car audio systems designed from the seat out. This groundbreaking technology promises to deliver an unprecedented audio experience.
Lastly, HARMAN is delivering a new era of 5G telematics control units with Ready Connect. This product allows automakers to monetize and maintain control of commercial relationships with customers.
Each product from HARMAN is designed to meet the rigorous demands and standards of the automotive environment. With these new offerings, HARMAN is setting the pace for the future of in-vehicle technology, making the vehicle a seamless extension of consumers' connected lifestyles.
