Russian Fish Producer Fined for Issuing False Veterinary Docs

LLC 'Dalrybflotproduct', situated at 13 Sovetskaya Street, Magadan, Russia, has been found to have violated regulations for issuing veterinary accompanying documents (VSDs) for fish products in Magadan Oblast. The 'Mercury' component of Rosselkhoznadzor detected these violations on September 30.

The company issued 18 VSDs for 347.4 kg of fish products on September 22, but these documents were issued after the products had already been made. Specifically, VSDs for 30.3 kg of fish roll and 73 kg of semi-smoked salmon spine were issued on September 22, despite the products being made on September 19. This action violates veterinary legislation, which requires that VSDs should be issued during the production process or within 48 hours after its completion.

The Primorsky Interregional Directorate of Rosselkhoznadzor has issued a warning to the company for these violations. They have recommended that the producer take immediate steps to correct the identified issues and ensure compliance with the regulations in the future.

LLC 'Dalrybflotproduct' has been warned for issuing veterinary accompanying documents after the production process was completed. The company must now take action to rectify these violations and ensure that it adheres to the mandatory requirements for issuing VSDs.
