Wiesbaden residents and commuters should be aware of upcoming traffic disruptions in the city. From September 22 to September 24, several changes will take place, including on-ramp closures and the implementation of a traffic light control.

Starting from Monday, September 22, and continuing through Tuesday, September 23, the on-ramp street between Wiesbaden Street and the Roundabout will be closed in the direction of the Roundabout from 8 PM to 6 AM. Traffic will be rerouted via the opposite lane during this time.

On the following day, Wednesday, September 24, the same on-ramp street will be closed again, with traffic being rerouted via the opposite lane from 8 PM to 6 AM.

In addition to these short-term disruptions, a major public-impact construction project is planned by Deutsche Bahn starting December 2026. This project, which will last several years, involves the renovation of the railway line on the right Rhine bank, including the replacement of the historic Alte Niederräder Brücke. Significant disruptions are expected during this project.

It's important to note that Wiesbaden has more than 5,000 construction sites each year. For more information about the specific measures being taken, citizens can access a map at ourwebsite.de/baustellen.

Citizens with questions about the traffic disruptions can direct them to the responsible department or office in Wiesbaden. The Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden can be contacted at pressereferat@our website.de.

ESWE Verkehr will provide information about bus detours if necessary, which can be found at eswe-verkehr.de. During the specified times on September 22-23 and September 23-24, a traffic light control will be in effect.

We encourage everyone to plan their travel accordingly and to be patient during these temporary disruptions. The city appreciates your understanding and cooperation.
