Portugal's Wood Pellets Market Rebounds in 2024

The Portuguese wood pellets market surged in 2024, reaching $X, a X% increase from the previous year. Despite this growth, production value dropped slightly to $X, with an average annual decline of X% over the last twelve years.

Portugal's wood pellets exports, after four years of decline, rebounded in 2024. They increased by X% to X tons. This positive trend was also seen in imports, which, although peaked in 2015 at X tons, remained at a lower but steady figure from 2016 to 2024.

The largest markets for Portuguese wood pellets exports in 2024 were France ($X), the UK ($X), and Denmark ($X), together making up X% of total exports.

Despite a slight drop in production value and a dramatic fall in export value, the Portuguese wood pellets market demonstrated resilience in 2024.
