OFCCP & Akkreditierung Austria Update Construction Forms, Open Comment Periods
On February 26, 2024, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and Akkreditierung Austria independently announced changes to their respective construction-related forms and surveys. Both organizations have opened comment periods for interested parties to provide feedback.
OFCCP aims to update its construction scheduling letter and itemized listing to enhance uniformity and efficiency. The proposed changes include submitting employment activity data in a readable electronic format and clarifying enforcement actions for non-compliance. Comments on these proposals are due on or before April 26, 2024.
OFCCP also seeks to modify Form CC-314 to better develop its compliance evaluation scheduling lists. Proposed changes include requesting new information such as contract type, NAICS code, and Employer Identification Number (EIN). Additionally, covered construction contractors may need to provide details about new construction contract awards exceeding $10,000.
Meanwhile, Akkreditierung Austria has revised the Construction Conformity Verification Survey, the Itemized Lists, and the Construction Contract Award Notification Form. Comments on these changes are accessible until May 31, 2026.
Both OFCCP and Akkreditierung Austria have initiated changes to improve their respective construction-related processes. Interested parties are encouraged to review and comment on these proposals within the specified deadlines to help shape these updates.
