MVZ Galeria Med Insolvency: New & Interim GP Practices Open in Koblenz Region
MVZ Galeria Med GmbH has filed for insolvency, leading to the closure of eight general practitioner practices in Koblenz and the Middle Rhine region. Despite this news, new and interim solutions are emerging in the region.
On September 10, MVZ Galeria Med GmbH filed for insolvency at the Neuwied Local Court. This resulted in the closure of all eight practices previously operated by the company. However, new developments are underway.
In St. Goarshausen, a new general practitioner practice opened on Wednesday, operating as a branch of the Nastätten practice. This new location provides an additional healthcare option for the area. Meanwhile, an interim solution is being implemented in Neuwied. Starting October 9, a mobile doctor's practice will be set up at the Volkshochschule in Heddesdorfer Street. This mobile practice will serve as a temporary measure until at least mid-December.
In Andernach, Mohamad Hussein Moslimani is set to take over the general practitioner practice in the existing premises. This ensures that the Andernach location will continue to provide healthcare services to the community. The mobile doctor's practice will make regular stops in Andernach on Tuesdays, Nastätten on Wednesdays, and Neuwied on Thursdays to provide additional support and accessibility to healthcare services.
