Kazakhstan Pushes for Unified Eurasian Transport Info Map
Kazakhstan is pushing for enhanced international cooperation in transport infrastructure. Transport Minister Nurlan Sauranbayev proposed a unified information maps of Eurasia for better data exchange among nations. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev inaugurated the second line of the Dostyk-Moiynty railway during the New Silk Way forum.
The proposed information maps aims to streamline communication on future plans and developments along major strategic routes. Sauranbayev stressed the significance of intergovernmental agreements for stability and investment protection in logistics projects. Kazakhstan plans to actively engage in upcoming international exhibitions in Georgia, Uzbekistan, and Pakistan to foster greater Eurasian development.
Over the past decade, Kazakhstan has invested around $35 billion in logistics. The country plans to add another $15 billion, bringing the total investment to $50 billion.
