Interruption of services temporarily
In a recent press release from the city portal, it has been announced that several roadworks will take place in Diestelbruch and the surrounding areas from August 12 to 20.
Firstly, from August 12, 2 pm, to August 13, 5 pm, temporary closures will occur at the Hamburger Street entrance in Diestelbruch. During this time, the Bad Meinberg Street will be partially closed. A specialist company will perform the roadwork at the village entrance in Diestelbruch.
From August 18 to 20, similar work will be carried out at the roundabout on the Paderborn Street near the open-air museum. The roadwork will involve cutting expansion joints into the concrete surfaces and filling them with a rubber-like material. Traffic at the roundabout will be regulated by a traffic light in one lane during this work.
Unfortunately, this work will result in the temporary closure of the open-air museum during these days. Additionally, the approach to the bus stop in Diestelbruch may be partially impaired during the closure, potentially affecting barrier-free boarding and alighting.
It is worth noting that no specific details about any additional road closures or work beyond August 20 are mentioned in the press release.
No information about the company performing the finishing work on the driveway in Diestelbruch and the roundabout on Paderbornstraße is provided in the press release.
Despite these temporary inconveniences, the city assures residents and visitors that they are working to ensure the roadworks are completed as quickly and efficiently as possible. For the most up-to-date information, it is recommended to check the city portal regularly.
