"In the midst of corrupt officials and deceitful informants, a powerful government figure becomes indistinguishable from them"
Vlad, the Boss of Business Relations:
Hey there! Business education, eh? Some folks think it's a joke, while others wail about the tide of criticism. But what's often overlooked is analyzing the conditions that fuel a successful team.
Let's get real: some success stories don't stem from extraordinary talents or skills - it's often trash luck. A guy ends up in the right place at the right time, boom, they own a fortune. But if we're talking patterns and responsibility, there's a specific mindset that turns people into victors. It won't guarantee success, but it sure as hell highlights the traits that make 'em winners.
This mindset ain't just about ambition and energy, but about focusing on the value they deliver to their clients. That's the difference-maker for successful entrepreneurs.
Now, creating the right environment is key. Every single person can build their own environment, even in a big corporation like RZD or Sberbank. Put the right people around and watch them thrive.
Take an asshat and place 'em in a crooked workplace, they'll either play along or bail. So, creating an environment, small or large scale, is a big factor in getting responsible, goal-oriented people on your team. You want more responsible people? Build a responsible environment, simple as that.
Productivity, baby, productivity. You can't control your employees, not in the sense that you can make them do what you want them to. The best you can do is set them tasks, inspire 'em, and negotiate. But at the end of the day, they're their own people. And if you've created a relationship where they choose to do their best, congrats, you're a good leader.
Now, the goal of any leader is to establish those relationships and foster that kind of environment where people choose to do their best. That's the real purpose of business education, and I just hit a business training for employees at a big state company. They whined about not being able to control their subordinates because they're controlled from above. But when we dug deeper, there was no control going on, just numbers tossed around. Let go of the control and focus on something else, yeah?
At the end of the day, we control very little. We just create the illusion of control. And the less we try to maintain that illusion, the better.
It's All About the Environment
Motivation, it's all about the environment. You don't need a big paycheck or fancy rides to motivate people. If someone works for a company, they've got a motivation system: salaries, bonuses, benefits, and more. If not, then that's motivation, too – it means they agreed to the terms.
People are motivated by their values, the environment created by you as a leader, and how engaging you are with your employees. Just create the right environment and stop trying to control them. Embrace it, and you'll feel lighter right away.
