HondaUpdates Pricing for 2026 Ridgeline Model, Incremental Amounts Maintained
The 2026 Honda Ridgeline, despite being on the brink of its tenth year, continues to hold its ground as a commendable option in the midsize pickup category. This is largely due to its unique package that sets it apart from its competitors.
One of the standout features of the 2026 Ridgeline is its in-bed trunk, which offers 7.3 cubic feet of stowable volume under the rear floor of the bed. This feature is not found in any other midsize pickup in the category.
In terms of dimensions, the crew cab of the 2026 Ridgeline is longer than those of the 2025 Chevrolet Colorado, Ford Ranger, and Jeep Gladiator. However, it's worth noting that the Toyota Tacoma's crew cab, short-bed is shorter than the Ridgeline, but the Tacoma offers a long-bed option that is longer than the Ridgeline.
When it comes to fuel economy, the Ford Ranger's 2.3-liter turbocharged I-4 and 2.7-liter turbocharged V-6 have better ratings than the Ridgeline (29/26/22 and 19/23/20 respectively). The Chevrolet Colorado 4WD and Jeep Gladiator also have worse fuel economy than the Ridgeline (17/21/19 and 17/22/19 respectively).
The non-hybrid Tacoma 4WD has roughly equal fuel economy with the Ridgeline (19/24/21 EPA rating), but the hybrid version offers better ratings (22/24/23). The 2026 Toyota Tacoma also offers a 2.4-liter turbocharged I-4 hybrid option for top-end models, which boasts 46 more horsepower and a 203 lb-ft of torque advantage over the Ridgeline's V-6.
Pricing-wise, the 2026 Honda Ridgeline has modest price increases compared to its 2025 model year pricing. The starting price for the 2026 Ridgeline is $42,090. The Colorado WT 4WD has a lower starting price than the Ridgeline. The Ridgeline Black Edition, a $48,690 trim, is cheaper than most top-level models in the AWD midsize truck segment.
The Jeep Gladiator Mojave X, on the other hand, has a higher price than the Ridgeline Black Edition by up to $14,405. The Ford Ranger Lariat 4WD costs $460 more than the Ridgeline Black Edition. The Tacoma Limited Double Cab 4WD costs $5,860 more than the Black Edition.
The design of the 2026 Honda Ridgeline was developed by Honda's North American design team. The Ridgeline Black Edition offers the Ash Green Metallic color, and a contrasting black roof option is available for this trim.
In terms of cargo space, the 2026 Ridgeline's usable cargo box of 33.9 cubic feet is competitive against its rivals. However, the 2026 Ridgeline's fuel economy, while competitive in some cases, is relatively lower compared to some of its rivals.
Only the Colorado Z71 has a lower price than the Ridgeline Black Edition in the top-level models. Overall, the 2026 Honda Ridgeline remains a solid choice in the midsize pickup category due to its unique features and competitive pricing.
