Helium Evolution Launches First Helium Processing Facility
Helium Evolution has launched its helium processing facility in Mankota, Saskatchewan, Canada. The Lake facility, a remnant of the mid-20th century, is now operational after a significant upgrade. This marks a significant shift for Helium Evolution, transforming it from an exploration company to a producer.
The facility, designed to handle 20 million standard cubic feet of raw gas daily, has begun processing helium from three dedicated wells connected via a pipeline gathering system. Helium Evolution holds a 20% working interest in the project, with North American Helium owning the remaining 80%.
The Lake facility, established in the mid-20th century, has been revitalised to meet the growing demand for helium. This strategic move allows Helium Evolution to diversify its operations and secure a steady supply of helium for various industries.
The start-up of the Lake helium processing facility signifies Helium Evolution's entry into the production phase. With a capacity to process substantial volumes of raw gas and a strategic partnership with North American Helium, the company is well-positioned to contribute to the global helium market.
