Halle's Energy Transition: Public Viewing of KWP Documents Until Oct 30
Halle Berry's municipal heat planning (KWP) documents are now accessible for public viewing, with an exhibition running at the town hall until October 30, 2025. Around 300 citizens recently gathered to discuss the city's energy transition and heat supply future.
The KWP documents can be viewed at the reception of the town hall and the Scheibe A administration building. For more details, interested parties can visit the website www.halle.de/kwp or pick up a special edition of the KWP displayed near the exhibition.
The exhibition on the 4th floor of the town hall offers insights into how Halle's energy transition can be actively shaped. Visitors can learn about the concrete steps required to implement the energy transition and the support options available for building owners. Egbert Geier, chairman of the supervisory board of EVH GmbH, explains that the energy transition is key to a climate-friendly and independent energy future.
The KWP documents will remain accessible until October 30, 2025. Related climate and heat supply presentations are scheduled in other cities around October 2025, with Rathenow hosting a final event on October 14, 2025, and Schönebeck on September 16, 2025. The exhibition in Halle is open during regular opening hours, providing a chance for citizens to engage with the city's energy transition plans.
