Goodtech Lands NOK 45M Equinor Deal for Offshore Wind Farm Control Rooms
Norwegian tech company Goodtech has secured a significant contract worth approximately NOK 45 million (around EUR 3.9 million) from Equinor. The deal involves supplying a comprehensive control room solution for the Bałtyk 2 and 3 offshore wind farms in Poland, operated by Equinor.
Goodtech will equip the central control room with state-of-the-art technology, including operator workstations, large screen display solutions, KVM technology, and server room equipment. The project is set to begin in November 2025 and is scheduled for completion by the first quarter of 2027.
The contract, awarded to Goodtech by Equinor, covers the delivery of a Central Control Room solution. This includes a common SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system, telecommunications equipment, and solutions designed to ensure safe and efficient operations.
The contract, valued at approximately NOK 45 million, will see Goodtech provide a complete control room solution for Equinor's Bałtyk 2 and 3 offshore wind farms in Poland. The project is set to commence in late 2025 and is expected to be finalized within the first three months of 2027.
