GLDD Wins $130M in Dredging Contracts, Showcasing Industry Leadership
Great Lakes Dredge & Dock (GLDD) has secured a significant number of contracts in the third quarter, totalling over $130 million. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded these seven project management contracts, demonstrating GLDD's strong position in the industry. GLDD's largest win was a $26.9 million maintenance contract for the South Atlantic Division (SAD) Regional Harbor Dredging. This was closely followed by a $25.5 million contract for maintenance at Baltimore Harbor and Channels. The company also secured a substantial $19.2 million contract for the Delray Beach Renourishment project. Other notable contracts include a $14 million maintenance contract for East Rockaway Inlet in New York and an $8.7 million contract for the Indian River Inlet North Beach Renourishment. GLDD also secured a $26.9 million project for the Mississippi River, Baton Rouge to the Gulf, Head of Passes Project. Additionally, GLDD secured an $11.7 million contract for the McLellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System Station Dredging Project. These project management contracts, awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, reflect GLDD's expertise and reliability in the dredging industry. With a combined value of over $130 million, they underscore GLDD's strong performance in the third quarter and set the stage for continued growth.
