Frankenförde solar park transitions to technical management by GP JOULE, replacing previous EPC service with PARQ energy's service contract.

GP Joule Takes Over Technical Operations of 73 MW Frankenförde Solar Park

GP Joule, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, has assumed responsibility for the technical operations of the 73 MW Frankenförde solar park. This move underscores the company's commitment to long-term partnerships and adherence to high-quality standards.

Located in Brandenburg, the solar park is expected to deliver efficient, reliable performance and sustainable energy production over its lifespan. GP Joule's expertise in professional asset management and maintenance, which typically involves continuous monitoring, predictive maintenance, and collaboration with stakeholders, will be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence.

The partnership between GP Joule and PARQ energy, a nationwide project developer and operator of solar parks, battery storage systems, and green power solutions, is a testament to this commitment. GP Joule's quality management, certified by TÜV Nord according to ISO 9001 since 2019, further underlines this dedication.

Markus van Hümmel, Managing Director of GP Joule Service, expressed his pleasure about the follow-up order from PARQ energy. Lukas Weisel, project manager at PARQ energy, welcomed the decision to continue the collaboration with GP Joule, citing their shared high standards of quality and care.

The tasks assigned to GP Joule for technical operation include transparent reporting, maintenance, lawn care, inspection, repair, and later technical optimizations. GP Joule's on-site team in Brandenburg will provide continuous monitoring and care for the Frankenförde plant.

It's worth noting that GP Joule produces and markets wind and solar power, green hydrogen and heat, and uses energy where it is most effective. The company has been shaping the energy system of the future in Europe since 2009.

In addition to the Frankenförde solar park, GP Joule is building a solar park with around 73 megawatts of capacity on 60 hectares in another location. The company's internal information security management system has passed a comprehensive audit for critical infrastructure by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) in spring 2025.

PARQ energy, which has been actively driving the energy transition since 2022, covers the entire value chain from site identification to planning, financing, construction, and operation. The company develops future-oriented energy solutions for municipalities, industry, and property owners.

With this partnership, both companies are set to contribute significantly to Germany's renewable energy goals and the global transition towards a sustainable energy future.

GP Joule's expertise in the renewable-energy industry, particularly in professional asset management and maintenance, will be crucial in securing finance for the efficient operation of the Frankenförde solar park. The company's commitment to quality standards, as demonstrated by their ISO 9001 certification, will ensure reliable energy production from the solar park over its lifespan.
