Frank Sinatra Experiences Multiple Hit Songs Reaching New Heights

Frank Sinatra continues to be a chart-topper even after his demise, particularly during the holiday season. His festive tunes see a surge in popularity, leading to his frequent appearance on global charts around Christmas. Each passing year, some of his most successful holiday numbers not only resurface but also climb higher and higher.

This week, the late icon holds four spots on Billboard's global charts, which may be his last stint on these charts for a while. All but one of these tracks achieve new heights on at least one of the two charts, and over half of his current victories reach new highs on both listings.

At the moment, Sinatra's highest-ranking track is "Jingle Bells," a collaboration with The Orchestra & Chorus of Gordon Jenkins. This lively tune ascends to the 28th spot on the Billboard Global 200 and the 51st position on the Billboard Global Excl. US, which excludes US consumption data. The track achieves a new peak on the latter list, although it has previously scaled greater heights on the former.

Following closely behind is "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," another collaborative effort. In this track, Sinatra joins forces with The Ken Lane Singers and Axel Stordahl. This melancholic song reaches new heights on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. US, peaking at Nos. 53 and 57, respectively.

Jumping from sorrowful to cheerful, "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" not only sets new peaks but also returns to the two Billboard rankings that showcase global listening trends. Sinatra's rendition of the classic re-enters the Billboard Global 200 at the 85th position, while it appears 20 places lower on the Billboard Global Excl. US.

Only one of Sinatra's singles fails to ascend to new heights on the two worldwide charts this week. "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!" finds itself at the 47th spot on the Billboard Global Excl. US and 10 spaces below on the Billboard Global 200. These positions are not far from its previous best showing, and it will have to wait until next year to potentially climb closer to the top.

Despite being introduced decades after his death, Sinatra has managed to place only four songs on both of the global rankings. Astoundingly, three of them set new records on the Billboard Global Excl. US this week, and half of them reach new highs on the Billboard Global 200 during a period that has been exceptionally beneficial for the icon.

Frank Sinatra's "Jingle Bells" collaboration with The Orchestra & Chorus of Gordon Jenkins is not just on Billboard's global charts this week but also achieves a new peak on the Billboard Global Excl. US. His melancholic rendition of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" with The Ken Lane Singers and Axel Stordahl climbs higher on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. US. Sinatra's version of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" returns and sets new peaks on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US. Despite being introduced after his demise, Frank Sinatra's holiday songs, including "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!", continue to appear on global charts, demonstrating his enduring global appeal and influence.
