Expansion of the District Heating System in Fischenich
In the coming weeks, Hürth Stadtwerke will be conducting an expansion of the district heating network in the Fischenich district of Hürth. The project, which aims to promote an environmentally friendly energy supply, will take place from July 21 to August 12, 2025.
The construction work will occur on weekdays for eight hours each day. The affected street section is Am Druvendriesch, from the access road Gennerstraße to house number 8a. During construction, this section will be fully closed to through traffic to ensure safety and efficiency. A detour for through traffic will be set up, and it is recommended that drivers follow the signposted route.

During construction, the Rebenfeld street can only be reached via the Platzstraße. Through traffic is advised to use the detour provided to reach their destinations.
