Expansion of the District Heating Infrastructure in Fischenich
In the charming town of Hürth, construction work has commenced on Am Druvendriesch street, from the access road Gennerstraße to house number 8a, as part of an initiative to improve the energy supply infrastructure and expand the district heating network.
The project, managed by E. Marx, aims to ensure a future-proof energy supply by connecting more households to the environmentally friendly district heating network. The construction work will take place on weekdays for eight hours each day, from July 21 to August 12, 2025.
For those navigating local traffic, access up to the construction site is allowed, but beyond is off-limits. A detour for through traffic will be set up during the construction period, and the detour is clearly signposted. Pedestrians and cyclists can pass the construction site without restrictions.
During construction, the Rebenfeld street can only be reached via the Platzstraße. The affected section will be completely closed to through traffic during construction. Local residents are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
