New Integrated Travel Coaches from Frankia: I680 Plus and I740 Plus
Frankia, a renowned manufacturer of motorhomes, has unveiled two new integrated travel coaches – the I680 Plus and the I740 Plus – at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. These new models are designed with comfort, technology, and sustainable energy features in mind, catering to the needs of both small and large travel groups.
I680 Plus: A Compact Powerhouse
The I680 Plus boasts a powerful 132 kW (179.47 HP) engine, capable of navigating various terrains with ease. With a length of 7,080 mm, a width of 2,300 mm, and a height of 3,110 mm, it offers a spacious interior for two individuals. The model weighs 4,500 kg and is built on a Euro VI Heavy Duty chassis with cruise control.
Equipped with premium fabrics, manual privacy blinds, a ceramic toilet, a 320 Ah LiFePO4 battery, ALDE hot water heating, 2x 110 W solar modules, an inverter, reversing camera, WiFi router, 32-inch smart TV, and a 11-year watertightness warranty, the I680 Plus is a perfect blend of modern comfort and technology.
Additional features include an awning with lighting profile, multiple 230V and USB sockets strategically placed inside and in garage/storage areas. The model also comes with steering wheel controls, alloy wheels, electric door mirrors, a spare wheel, an additional outside locker, a second Heiki 3 rooflight in the lounge, and more.
I740 Plus: Spacious and Powerful
The I740 Plus, slightly larger than the I680 Plus, is designed for larger groups or families. With a length of 7,770 mm, a width of 2,300 mm, and a height of 3,090 mm, it offers more space and can accommodate four individuals comfortably. The model weighs 5,500 kg and features a Euro 6 emission standard and automatic transmission.
Similar to the I680 Plus, the I740 Plus is equipped with premium features, including a 140 kW (190.35 HP) engine, an ALDE warm water heating system, a 32-inch smart TV, a reversing camera, WiFi router, and more. However, the I740 Plus is tailored for its larger size, offering a spacious garage, a larger bathroom with an extra shower, medicine cabinet, and ceramic toilet.
Pricing and Availability
The I680 Plus Edition Together versions are priced around €154,760 to €157,040 (approximately €130,000 net), while the I740 Plus model is priced approximately €179,899 (about €151,000 net). These prices reflect new models with extensive premium equipment and modern comforts for travel and living.
The larger, 7.54-meter long Frankia I740 Plus is available from €149,000. The integrated Together models require at least €11,000 more investment compared to the alternative with a cabover above the driver's cab, but offer a price advantage of around €10,000 compared to this alternative.
The integrated Together models will debut at the Caravan Salon from August 29 to September 7. Frankia, celebrating its 65th anniversary this year, is expanding its Together series with these two new integrated models.
In summary, both the I680 Plus and the I740 Plus models emphasize comfort, technology, sustainable energy features, and quality fittings. The I740 Plus offers more space and power for larger groups or families, making it an ideal choice for extended travel and living experiences.
