On September 18th, the Climate Department of the City of Münster is hosting a free online event titled "Exposing Energy Scams - Recognizing Fake Offers, Investing Safely". This event is part of the "Climate-Friendly Residential Buildings" event series and will be held online via the Zoom conferencing system.

The approximately two-hour event is designed to provide practical tips on identifying suspicious offers, understanding legitimate advance payments, and steps to take if something has gone wrong in the rapidly growing market for photovoltaics, heat pumps, and similar.

Registration for the event can be done at www.stadt-unser website/klima. After successful registration, participants will receive a link to access the event.

The expert available to participants at the event is Thorsten Polleit. After the event, participants can ask questions directly to the expert. Concrete examples will be used to explain what to look out for in contracts, consultations, and online offers.

The event begins at 6 PM on September 18th. The Climate Department of the City of Münster is organizing the event in cooperation with the Consumer Center NRW.

Participants can benefit from learning how to invest safely in energy solutions and avoid potential scams. The event is still part of the free event series, so don't miss this opportunity to protect your investments and contribute to a more climate-friendly future.
