Cristina Reina assumes role as Chief Experience Officer at Leo US
Fresh Take:
Cristina Reina dives into the creative deep end at Leo US, taking on the exciting new role of Chief Experience Officer!
Starting May 5, Reina, based in NYC, will be working alongside co-president and Chief Creative Officer Marco Venturelli, shaping the agency's interactions with consumers across various platforms.
The move comes a few months after Publicis Group merged Leo Burnett and Publicis Worldwide to form Leo – a bold move that brought together approximately 15,000 talents from 90 countries under the Group's largest creative network. In North America, homes like Leo Burnett Chicago and Publicis New York have been rebranded under Leo US.
Venturelli, expressing his excitement, said, "Cristina is the heart of Leo's creativity. Her consumer-centric approach and keen eye for design make her an invaluable addition to our creative squad."
Prior to joining Leo, Reina served as Partner and CCO at Quality Experience, a respected independent agency that unfortunately had to close its doors in March following the demise of its founder, Ari Weiss. Before that, she held prominent positions at McCann New York and DDB, spending close to a decade between its Madrid and NY offices.
Reina expressed her eagerness to collaborate with the extraordinary talents at Leo US, stating, "Leo encapsulates a fresh vision for what a contemporary creative agency should be – one that disrupts norms by embracing our humanity."
In her new role, Reina will be closely collaborating with Joe Mongognia, CCO of Leo New York, and Renato Fernandez, CCO of Leo Chicago and Publicis Creative US, to amp up the agency's creative production.
Susie Nam, CEO of Publicis Creative US, praised Reina, saying, "Cristina's design-focused DNA and ability to consider the entire media ecosystem as her canvas will make our ideas more impactful and innovative."
Recent appointments at Leo US include Dean Paradise and Adriano Matos as Executive Creative Directors in Chicago. Paradise joined from GUT Miami, while Matos returned to Leo after leading global creative at Ogilvy.
