Court Finds Employer Negligent in Severe Electrician Injury

A court in Yakutia's Tatatin district has convicted a shift supervisor for severe workplace negligence. The incident resulted in serious injuries to a 71-year-old electrician near me.

The electrician, while working on a conveyor chain, suffered severe injuries to both hands due to inadequate safety measures. The incident left him with multiple fractures and injuries. A lawsuit was filed on his behalf, seeking compensation for moral damages from the employer. The supreme court ruled in favour of the electrician, ordering the company to pay 600,000 rubles in compensation. Despite the conviction, the responsible person's identity remains unknown in public sources.
