Celine Dion recently stirred up global astonishment and delight by performing in public for the first time in years. This legendary vocalist served as one of the main attractions at the Paris Olympics, enchanting audiences with a French rendition of a timeless classic from atop the Eiffel Tower, an event that will undoubtedly be etched in history as one of her most unforgettable moments.

Although she's slowly making her way back to music following a health setback that kept her sidelined, Dion hasn't released much new material lately. In fact, she hasn't recorded any new vocals in years, according to public records – but that hasn't stopped her from achieving chart success.

Dion once again finds herself on the U.K. singles chart with a tune that's just hitting the charts now, even though it's not exactly new. The iconic Canadian's rendition of "O Holy Night" enters the list of the most popular songs in the country at No. 62, fueled by an overwhelming love for Christmas tracks during this season in many Western music markets.

"O Holy Night" is, without a doubt, a classic, with hundreds of versions recorded since its inception over a century ago – and now, Dion's rendition has become a hit. She first included it on her album These Are Special Times, her debut English-language holiday collection, which was released in 1998.

The carol took more than 25 years to become a smash hit in the U.K., and it's still gaining traction on multiple charts at the moment. "O Holy Night" also ranks at No. 56 on the Official Streaming chart, which recognizes the most-streamed tracks of all genres across the pond.

"O Holy Night" is listed in the singles chart dated January 2, 2025, meaning Dion has already notched up a new chart success for that year – even though the year hasn't even started yet. Despite her health challenges, it's been surprisingly brief since she last debuted with a hit on the competitive chart.

Dion collaborated with electronic producers Majestic and Jammin Kid on their single "Set My Heart on Fire," which became a global sensation midway through 2024. The track is essentially a mashup, utilizing some of Dion's vocals from her past recordings to create something fresh and innovative. The tune reached No. 39 on the U.K.'s singles chart only a few months ago, granting Dion an unsuspected top 40 hit.

Celine Dion's rendition of "O Holy Night" is also making waves on the Billboard charts, debuting at a notable position. This marks another achievement for Dion's Christmas album, which has been performing exceptionally well on the Christmas charts.

Despite her recent focus on holiday songs, Dion is rumored to be working on new music. Sources suggest that she might be gearing up to release a new album soon, exciting her fans worldwide who are eagerly anticipating her return to the music scene.

As Dion's "O Holy Night" continues to dominate the UK charts, her Christmas song has become a household favorite. It's no surprise that her rendition of the classic carol has sold exceptionally well, with "O Holy Night" sales soaring both in the UK and internationally.

Following the success of "O Holy Night," Celine Dion's holiday album has experienced a resurgence in popularity. In the UK, the album has re-entered the charts, demonstrating the enduring appeal of Dion's music and her ability to capture the holiday spirit with her soulful voice.

As the new year approaches, Celine Dion's music is leaving its mark on the global music scene. Her collaboration with Majestic and Jammin Kid on "Set My Heart on Fire" has not only revitalized her career but also showcased her versatility as an artist, proving that her talent is as timeless as ever.
