BVB and DUK Team Up to Expand Occupational Pension Offerings
The Bavarian Insurance Chamber (BVB) and the German Support Fund (DUKE) have joined forces in occupational pension provision (bAV). This collaboration aims to expand bAV offerings and strengthen the sector. Thomas Vietze, head of corporate life insurance at the BVB, welcomes this cooperation as a step to meet brokers' needs. Through this partnership, reinsurance contracts for funding occupational pension promises can be set up and fully managed. Brokers and multiple agents can now access the BVB's bAV products via the DUKE. Christian Willms, chairman of the board of the DUKE, is pleased about this collaboration and expects it to bolster bAV offerings. Vietze, a member of the Vorstand (Executive Board) at Bayerische Versicherungskammer, leads the bAV expansion efforts at the BVB. The BVB and DUKE's collaboration in bAV provision allows brokers to access a wider range of products. This partnership is expected to strengthen occupational pension offerings and meet the growing needs of the sector.
