Bad Salzuflen Joint Operation Targets Illegal Employment, Ensures Safety
On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, a joint inspection operation was conducted in Bad Salzuflen city center. The Bielefeld Customs Office, local police, and the Ordnance Department collaborated to target illegal employment and ensure occupational safety, particularly focusing on fairground operators and construction sites.
The operation, involving the Finanzkontrolle Schwarzarbeit (FKS) unit, questioned 17 employees about their employment conditions. Four individuals' residence status could not be determined on site and were referred to the appropriate foreign authority. The Ordnance Department also played a crucial role, ensuring the safety of inspected construction sites. Future operations will continue to combat illegal work, enforce safety regulations, and maintain public order in Bad Salzuflen.
