Adecco Appoints Sergio Picarelli as New COO of Staffing Division
Sergio Picarelli, a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience at Adecco, has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer of Adecco's Staffing Division. This move sees him succeed Alain Dehaze and take charge of the company's largest business unit, which contributes to 89% of the Group's revenues.
Picarelli's impressive career trajectory at Adecco includes serving as the Head of Operations Central Europe, a role he held from 2001, overseeing 23 countries. His leadership was instrumental in developing major European markets such as Germany, Belgium, and the Nordics. Prior to this, he joined Adecco in Italy in 1993 and rose to become the Chief Sales and Marketing Director, contributing significantly to the company's growth.
Picarelli's new role will see him report directly to Group Chief Executive Officer Jérome Caille. He will be responsible for all operational matters at Adecco's largest business unit, which boasts a network connecting up to 700,000 associates with business clients daily. Picarelli's extensive experience and proven track record make him an ideal fit for this strategic position.
Sergio Picarelli, a graduate of Bocconi University with a degree in Business Administration, brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of Adecco's operations to his new role. Married and a father of one, Picarelli is set to drive the Staffing Division's continued success, building on the legacy of his predecessor Alain Dehaze.
